Postgame Quotes from warriors.com recap

Don Nelson
On tonight's game:
"Well, I thought we had some opportunities. When we needed to make probably every shot, we didn't make any shots. Even to keep it close, you know, we actually had open shots, we just didn't make them… And we got out-rebounded too badly really to even have a chance, so I can't complain really."
Stephen Curry
On his shots not falling tonight:
"I'm just playing the game and taking the shots I think I should take, regardless if they're going in or not. You got to keep taking them to put you in the best position to win. Couple of those go down and it's a different ball game. Next game, have the same mentality and hopefully they'll fall. Tonight I was just struggling to get my legs back from the break and couldn't find it."
Anthony Morrow
On tonight's game:
"It was a close game. We had an opportunity down the stretch but we couldn't make enough shots. It was alright though. I mean, we played hard and I'm real proud of my teammates."

On Shannon Brown:
"He's a good player. He's getting his opportunity now with Kobe down. He made some shots and got rolling early. He played a good game."
Corey Maggette
On his development:
"I think I can be someone that can be offensively talented and someone that can bring defensive intensity every night. Hopefully I've developed into something like that, where I can help teams win - if that's score or defend or rebound whatever it is, I'm willing to do it."

On Stephen Curry:
"He was great. I didn't realize he was rebounding like he was until the ending and they were saying 'He only needs two more' and that was about 10 minutes left. Something like a triple double doesn't happen very often for most people, so for him to able to put up those type numbers offensively and boards and distribute the ball like he did it was phenomenal. "

My Notebook

- The results of Monta's examination and Monta's return have been held off until Wednesday.

What's next?

- The Warriors come right back home to host the Kings tomorrow night at 7:30pm. No more road games for the month of February.
