LA Lakers claim trophy while Golden State Warriors claim entire state of California

Have you seen the new Golden State Warriors secondary logos?

The one with the W on top of the state of California pays homage to the old Warriors logo that has a star where the Bay Area is located on the map of the Golden State.

However, now that the star has been omitted and replaced by a W smack dab in the middle, it's like the Warriors are claiming the whole state for themselves! Haha, David Stern let it pass thanks to the old logo! I must say, a shrewd move, Mr. Chris Cohan. Somewhere Larry Ellison is applauding.

Take that, Clippers, Kings, and -- oh yes, this is sweet -- Lakers!

There's also an alternate logo with the SF inside of the basketball. Is that a straight diss to Oakland or what?!

Well, last year I said it was more-so a dissage to the City for the hapless Warriors wearing the old San Francisco unis than it was to Oakland! But now with new ownership coming in and fresh branding, Oaktown has a legitimate gripe.
