I know Atma recently posted the GSOM Night 9 teaser, but even though they're posted close together, I wanted to throw out some more details so you all knew what was going on. And just to keep you up to date, since we released the tickets for sale, already 75 have been sold. Hurry and up get your tickets to make sure you get the best possible seats.

A new season means another GSOM Night on opening night, a new amazing Tony.psd designed t-shirt, and a free throw contest (shoot free throws on the court!) with a prize of courtside club tickets to a future game. You only get the t-shirt and opportunity to participate in the free throw contest if you purchase tickets through the GSOM Night offer. I haven't been this excited about a season in a long time, new owner, budding superstar, key supporting cast, and did I say new owner?!

When
Opening Night! - Wednesday, October 27, 2010 @ 7:30p vs Houston Rockets

Tickets (Purchase Tickets Online, password: GSOM)
- Club 200 Sideline: $30 each (regular $36)
- Club 200 Corner/Baseline: $25 each (regular $30)

For Every Ticket Purchased
- Tickets to opening night vs the Rockets
- Free Tony.psd t-shirt
- Participate in the post-game on-court free throw contest
- More to come...

All I gotta say is last year's opening night was amazing. The game was exciting, we flipped it up and handed out GSOM Night jerseys instead of t-shirts, and the free throw contest brought over 500 people, was unique, and exciting.

If you're coming, thank you and I'm definitely excited to start this new season with you all there. If you're not coming or on the fence, leave a comment and let us know why, we'll see what we can do to accommodate you. Keep it locked to GSOM in the upcoming weeks for more updates on how we'll continue to make this GSOM Night experience even better.

Tony.psd T-Shirt

We always get something fresh from Tony.psd. We're lucky to have such a talented artist on the GSOM team. He's given us a bunch of different designs but this one is definitely one of my favorites. I'm loving the vibrant style, the silhouettes, and he's even got the new logo on there. Remember, you can only get this free t-shirt if you purchase tickets through GSOM.

Free Throw Contest

Unfortunately you will not be competing against Andris Biedrins and his 5% free throw shooting percentage. You are also not required to shoot your free throws underhanded, though some of you may need to.

Here are the rules: You will take one free throw. If you make it, you are given a second free throw. If you miss it, you're done. If you make the second one, you move onto the next round. If you miss the second, you're done. It's not a lot of free throws, but keep in mind we had 500 people last year and only a handful of people made both. After that it's sudden death. In these next rounds, each person takes one free throw, if you make it, you move on. If you miss, you're done. The last person left standing wins the courtside club tickets! Good luck.

What is GSOM Night?

If you don't know what GSOM Night is, let me tell you what it's all about. A couple times a year, we at GSOM work with the Warriors group ticket sales team to create an entire night's experience for you at a Warriors game. You buy tickets to the game through GSOM and you'll be sure to experience something that is unique, fun, and memorable. We're all about having a good time with friends and members of the GSOM community. This is why we always offer tickets at a discount, give out free stuff (usually t-shirts), and now have post-game events (last year we had a free throw contest and a post-game Q&A with Anthony Morrow).

In the past, we've worked with Chris Murphy of the Warriors group ticket sales, he got a promotion to director (congrats Chris!) and is now overseeing all group ticket activities. This year, we're working with Dana Knops who you might be familiar with as he's worked with Chris on a lot of the previous GSOM Night incarnations. Definitely excited to work with Dana because he brings a different type of energy and excitement to the event. Say hi to Dana if you see him around the arena.
