As part of the Warriors' Social Media 3-Point Play, I'll be attending the game tonight in the press box and will try to post some comments after the game, live from the post-game news conference. For in-game status updates, hit me on Twitter at @poormanscommish.
The past two days dropping by the practice facility and talking to Keith Smart, there seems to be a lot of concern about Baron Davis's recent return to Boom Dizzle form. And, of course, there's Blake Griffin. But if the Miami Heat game on Wednesday was any indication, I hope we don't forget about Eric Gordon. Everytime the Heat looked like they were going to take over the game, EG stepped up with a huge bucket, from both outside and strong drives to the hoop.
And let's not overlook the yeoman job DeAndre Jordan has churned out this year. For tonight, the Warriors certainly have their hands full.
However, what's missing for the Los Angeles Clippers is chemistry and some kind of an established system. A lot of their success is predicated on one-on-one play, so maybe the Dubs can contain the Clips' talent with some solid team D.
Expect another great matchup at the 2 between Monta Ellis and Gordon. Will Baron bust out back at his old We Believe stomping grounds? Can Andris Biedrins and David Lee guard Jordan and Griffin, respectively? Will Dorell Wright have his way at the 3?
We all know the Clips are better than their 13-24 record. This is an important game for both teams in the standings. Should be a great game.
