Postgame Quotes and Stuff from warriors.com recap
On whether he wanted to foul when up three in the fourth quarter:
"No, because it was 15 seconds when they got it across. We got him to miss the shot, and it came down low. Everyone got sucked in and the ball came out long and now you have to run out and scramble and they moved the ball real quick and he (Stephen Jackson) hits a bank three. 15 seconds to start you can’t say let’s foul then. You try and look at six, seven seconds you want to be down in there. Maybe if we were closer to the guys when we got the initial rebound, and it may have been around six or seven seconds then without a question I foul every time up by three."
On Andris Biedrins and Bench Scoring:
"Yeah, that’s hard. That’s hard because your center has been beaten up the last couple of days and you got him to play at a nice high level. It was one of those nights where Reggie (Williams) came off and was playing well, so you had a lot of things that were going to break the right way for us at the end had we pulled it out. But now all that stuff goes under a bridge and you don’t have that now. It was a disappointing loss that we had control of and we tried to control it, but we just didn’t."
On if tonight's loss hurts:
"The way it happened did. Having control of the game and being up 16 to giving it away. Then not being able to get one stop at the end of the game. It all boils into one pot. We had a chance to win the game and we didn’t. It’s really frustrating when we play hard. It’s not like our effort was the reason we lost. We just had lapses where we couldn’t rebound, gave up too many baskets down low and we let them back in the game."
On tonight's game:
"We made so many mistakes. We can’t do that. We just didn’t do our job. We thought we had the win in our hands and we just kind of backed off. They made the plays. The last shot off the backboard you can’t do anything about that. It’s just very frustrating."
- No interesting notes to add tonight.
