Mark Jackson
On Tonight's Game:
“I thought the first half was great. I thought our guys did an outstanding job of battling, taking care of the basketball, executing our game plan and our strategy as far as defensive concepts were concerned. I thought it slipped away a little bit in the second half. It was careless…unforced errors and not paying attention to personnel, giving them wide open looks. But overall, I was very pleased that we competed and I was able to get pretty much everyone in the ballgame.”

On Andris Biedrins:
“I thought he was very good. A live body, multiple efforts, chasing rebounds, got in the way. And then offensively I thought he was very, very patient. I’ve been very pleased with the way he has been playing.”

On Klay Thompson:
“He’s got to be more patient…but he’s a young guy, he’s going to make mistakes. The unforced errors will hurt, but he’s a guy that is going to play a lot and we are going to have to live through some of his mistakes as long as he’s going to play his tail off to get better. I think it was a very positive debut.”

On Jimmer Fredette:
“I thought he played very well. It was very good to see him, live and in person. He’s tough, hard nosed, gritty and obviously shot the lights out. Very impressive, I thought at times we allowed him to get us on our heels…but he played very well.”
Ekpe Udoh
On Tonight's Game:
“It was a great game. Crowd came out. There was energy in the building. We played pretty well, but we had our moments and they got back in the game. We have to correct that tomorrow in film and just work to get better.”

On His Low-Post Game:
“Coaching staff gave me the confidence when I get on the block. Just take my time and get a bucket for my team.”

On The Team's Defensive Performance:
“We did OK. We were up 19 at the half and they made a run. It was like they hit a three every time down. We’ll watch film and work to get better.”
Klay Thompson
On Playing His First NBA Game:
“It felt real good. Even though it was preseason we treated it like a real game. I had a lot of nerves all day until I stepped onto the court and the excitement getting that first run out of the way.”

On Playing With The First String:
“It felt good. Hopefully I can make my way into the rotation and make an impact in my rookie season. I just have to keep working at it, putting up jumpers and keep playing good defense. I think I can help this team. I was rushing a little bit in the first half today but once I got those nerves out of the way I thought I played a lot better in the second half.”
