Mark Jackson
On Tonight's Game:
“I thought there were some great things in the second half. We’re talking about eight consecutive stops for one run. We had 11 straight stops and were very impressive on the defensive end. The bottom line is if you want to win on the road in this league, you have to do it for 48 minutes. We had some lapses and we paid the price.”

On Stephen Curry's Injury:
“The bottom line is we are a no excuse basketball team. That message had to be made loud and clear. The message remains the same with the guys dressed in blue and that is to find a way to get it done. Hopefully he (Stephen Curry) will be back quick but if not we still have to go out and execute our game plan.”
David Lee
On His Performance:
"It’s really no different from last year. I just came in last year not as in good of shape because of circumstance. I hurt my finger in free agency and I started out a little bit slow in preseason and then got hurt. I felt I played some of the best ball of my career in the last couple games of last season. My big thing throughout this whole thing, this whole lockout was to come in in shape and I’m ready to go. I think I’ve done that and I’m excited for our first game. It was tough losing Steph (Curry) today but as far as what I’m doing I’m trying to become a better player all around."

“I’m a very motivated guy. I feel like I’m in the best shape of my career. We have a new attitude around here. I think Coach Jackson has done a great job instilling that with our team this first week. We have a long way to go but I think it is very important that I be one of the leaders and preach that. So I can’t go out there and play with a lack of intensity and expect to be a captain and have guys follow me and me not doing the right thing. That would make no sense. Our deal is to preach defense and going out there and play hard. I feel like I have to be one of the leaders in that category.”
Klay Thompson
On His Performance:
"I’m not worried about it. I’m not going to lose confidence. We are going to have games like that. You can’t lose confidence. It’s the worst thing you can do as a shooter. Yeah it’s tough on me. It’s going to linger around for a couple of days. I’m just going to go to the gym and try to fix that."
