Keith Smart
On closing ou the fourth quarter:
"I thought that was important because sometimes when a team is missing valuable pieces to their team, and they have a lot of guys trying to work themselves into playing, it’s a wild card. You don’t know where their offense is going to come from and it can come from a variety of places. When you have the top line in the game, you know where the ball is going to go. Your defense, your pregame, your walkthrough is set up for that. A game like this, when you have missing pieces, someone is going to step up and I thought we did a good job defensively in the latter part of the 4th quarter. I felt Vladdy (Vladimir Radmanovic) did an incredible job of switching out on things. I like him because he’s versatile on both sides of the ball. I felt we could get some good contesting of the shots late in the game. Andris (Biedrins) made a huge block, coming over and blocking a shot. We got our hands on some balls, some deflections and came up with some big steals. We did a lot of good things defensively that set up things for us on the offensive end. "

On Reggie Williams scoring off the bench:
"That’s what you need from a guy like that. He has to do that. We’ve had some late night workouts with Reggie (Williams). I’ve come in with him and two other guys, and work with a three-man team in the morning. I’ve got to get him playing when one of our main guys is not playing well. He has to play this way all the time. If I have to keep coming in at night with him that’s what we’ll do"

On getting more "team wins":
"As you move late into the season, trying to get to that All-Star break, you want to be in a positive way - the way you are playing as well as winning. Teams are going to gear up for trying to slow Monta (Ellis) down. That’s where Vladdy (Vladimir Radmanovic) and Reggie (Williams) coming off the bench making plays…they have to do that for us. Your starters kind of equal out, but most of the time you are going to have an equal line with your starters and it’s what your bench does when they come into the game. That’s why we need positive production from our bench."
David Lee
On tonight's win:
"It’s very important. This game was a must-win. I kind of related it towards the end to that Charlotte game a little bit where it was a lower scoring game. Both teams didn’t shoot the ball particularly well. They hit some tough shots in the first half and (Ersan) Ilyasova and (Carlos) Delfino hit contested jumpers. Tonight we made a much better effort in the fourth quarter and were able to grind it out. It was a great team victory and great test for us."

On closing out the game:
"We didn’t just do it by hitting shots; we got stops and got rebounds. With a smaller lineup tonight they presented us with some problems and they’re a scrappy team. They’re a team that has a lot of big road victories this year. So they’re dangerous, they beat the Lakers pretty good and beat some different teams. They’re a well-coached team so we were happy we got the victory."
Monta Ellis
On closing out the game:
"It was scary for a second. It looked like they didn’t want to miss. But we stuck with it, got defensive stops at the right time and got rebounds. Me and Steph (Curry) hit our free throws to close it out."

On wanting the ball at the end of the game:
"Yes I do. You know it’s been a rough week but my team still has the confidence and faith in me to knock shots down. Coach continues to call the play for me and hopefully I knock it down. No matter how many I miss I just focus on that one."

On If teammates stepping up mattters:
"It does. We have a lot of guys that can do that. If you just look down the bench, a couple of them made some big shots, Vladdy (Radmanovic), Dorell (Wright), Steph (Curry), David Lee hit some shots. I mean the list goes on. We stay together, played as a unit and closed it out."

Notes

- Acie Law DNP because of a sprained right wrist.
- According to DWright with Damon Bruce, DWright says his teammates nicknamed his pump fake "poo poo".
