Keith Smart
On today's game:
"We didn’t play smart basketball down the stretch, we had the game in our hands to close it out but we didn’t play smart. It’s an experience thing and everything in between. We’ve grown now, we’re 62 games into the season. When you’re on the road and you have a chance to win, the Nets are an energetic team missing one of their most critical pieces. We had a chance to walk away with this game and unfortunately we didn’t. Stephen Curry is a young player and he is going to grow and become a better player. He will learn to manage these situations better. Point guard is the toughest position in the world because every player wants the ball. Every situation you have the ball is critical."
Monta Ellis
On today's game:
"I think we took good shots, they just didn’t go down. At the end of the day, the shots that we took just didn’t go down."

On the road trip being over:
"We are not happy at all (to have this road trip over). We only won two games. That’s not enough to get us where we need to be."
Dorell Wright
On today's game:
"We can’t make mistakes like we did tonight in crunch time. We have to continue to play together and improve. We are young, but that’s not an excuse. Like I said, we just have to play together, continue to learn, and get better."

On the road trip:
"Definitely (it’s tough going home) as we saw a lot of teams we should have been able to compete with and get key wins. We have got to make that playoff push. That’s our goal. Every night we go out and play hard, in the practice gym we challenge each other, it’s just that we keep falling short."

Notes

- No interesting notes to add tonight.

What's next?

- Annoyingly, we'll have to sludge through another game this Friday, at home, vs Magic. At least we get to welcome JRich back to the bay.
