1:14 min: Tim Roye's Game Recap
Keith Smart
On Monta Ellis:
"Well he rolled his ankle a couple of games ago, and tried to manage though it the last couple of days but you could see that he wasn’t himself tonight. He tried to give what he could, but it just wasn’t his night…just wasn’t the Monta (Ellis) we’ve grown accustomed to seeing play. He tried to fight through it as much as he could. He tried to work on it yesterday; practice through it but today just wasn’t in his favor."

On Playing Without Monta Ellis:
"I knew it wasn’t working for him, but he motioned to me that he wanted to go…he wanted to give it a shot. I felt he was OK to try and close the game, came in and made a big shot right there. My plan was to not put him in, but he wanted to give it a shot."

On Dorell Wright And Ekpe Udoh:
"They did a great job. Those two guys, their DNA is to play defense and block shots and play the passing lanes. I thought having a bigger Dorell (Wright) on Tyreke (Evans) made a big difference tonight so we controlled that and didn’t have to worry about the post-up game from Tyreke (Evans) so I thought that was pretty good the way he played that position really well for us tonight. Our bench came in and gave us a little boost. We have done a good job taking care of the ball, but it’s the costly turnovers at a given time that hurt you…especially late in the game when it’s a bad read."

On Trying to Achieve 10 More Wins Than Last Year:
"It’s so close to nine, but for some reason ten looks better. It’s always important to do that, we have nine plus wins now, but I would imagine ten looks better than nine. If you’re at eleven maybe ten doesn’t look that great. It’s a goal we are trying to get to. We had one earlier with trying to get to the 40s and that fell through a little bit. Now we are trying to get to the next number with positive wins and we did. Now trying to get to ten games with two left to go."
David Lee
On tonight's game:
"Two teams that play hard. They outplayed us in the fourth quarter and they hit some shots while we didn’t hit ours. They did a consistent job of having more guys on the boards then we did tonight. That’s how they win games. They play hard. They didn’t have the best season but they continue to compete, they continue to play hard and their strength is offensive rebounding. They have Tyreke (Evans) who is really solid and it was a pretty good game."

On Monta Ellis' Injury:
"He said he was fine then he went to get up you could just tell by the look in his eyes he had no idea where he was at. It was a scary moment. I’ve been there before where guys assume you’re fine because you’re getting up but you have no idea where you're at. He was trying to walk to the free throw line to shoot free throws but kind of walked towards the fans for a second. I said come on trainer come get him. He’s a tough kid but you have to be careful with those kinds of things."
