Over at Sactown Royalty longtime blog-friend Tom Ziller titled his preview for this game "Kings vs. Warriors: Can Sacramento remain unbeaten during the part of the season that doesn't matter?"

The funny part is the entire Kings season doesn't matter.

The Kings are going to be quite the bore this season. Their arena naming deal with Sleep Train is an example of brand harmony. Both the 2012-2013 Sacamento Kings and Sleep Train can guarantee their fans a better night's sleep. Pretty remarkable. Quite a few people in the Kings and Sleep Train organizations deserve a raise for this.

As for the game it will be interesting to see... actually who am I kidding? It's a preseason game between the Kings and Warriors where half the rosters are resting and isn't even televised. Stephen Curry vs Tyreke Evans 2010 Rookie of the Year battle this is not.

We're going to experiment a little and try something different for today's sleepfest. The preview and the gamethread will be split into two separate posts.
