Three things to watch in tonight's game (that you can actually watch on a television):
- The backcourt matchup: Independent of who gets the better of tonight's matchup in the backcourt, I agree with Dave of Blazer's Edge that it will be intriguing at the very least to see Damian Lillard and Wesley Matthews go up against Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson. I'd also say that the Warriors duo should get the better of that.
- Meyers Leonard: For anyone around here that wanted the Warriors to draft Meyers Leonard, tonight will feel a bit more significant: if you're experiencing fan-buyer's remorse, any small flash of brilliance will only accelerate that. The Blazers are hoping this guy will end up becoming a starter and I'd like to see Festus Ezeli shut down his more athletic rookie peer.
- Stephen Curry finding his rhythm: As Sleepy Freud mentioned after last game, where the "rust" still shows up statistically is with his 6.6 fouls per 36 minutes. Otherwise, he's looking fine for now.
