gswscribe: Myers was quiet the whole time -- until he hit the game-winner: "Not losing to these guys!" ... Jackson's response "Play again." Of course

Warriors vs. Heat: Postgame Interviews (12/12/12) by Warriors
Mark Jackson
On tonight's game:
"They’re the best (Miami Heat) and for us to leave out of here with a win, it’s a total team effort. Especially when our best players are having a tough night, there’s something about this team that refuses to quit. We’re going to battle and compete, and when you’re playing against two guys that are going to go down as all-time greats, and we know them on a first name basis, for us to come out of here and grind out a victory against the champs, is special. I saw how they were defending Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson and they were concerned coming off screens, and I wanted to make sure we took the last shot. I give Jarrett Jack a lot of credit, he nursed it, milked it, and Draymond Green did a good job of flashing and finishing. We got great effort and David Lee was spectacular, Klay was off the charts, and not only scoring but he defended Dwyane Wade as well as you can defend him. Draymond battled against LeBron James, and Stephen gutted it out. It wasn’t his best performance, not even close but he stayed and battled. A big-time victory for us. It is incredible what is taking place. I am extremely humbled to coach this basketball team. We got good screens on offense and kept moving and Klay got good looks and got it going. As good as he was offensively, I was more impressed with his defense. Dwyane Wade is a tough task for anybody to guard in this game, but he stayed connected, tried to disrupt him and contain every shot. You can play that same defense and Wade will hit 40 points, we’ve seen it. Klay was awfully good tonight. This is who we are and everybody knows it. We have ultimate respect for those guys (Miami Heat) but every night we are going to battle and compete and leave it on the floor. Jarrett was spectacular and made some huge shots, took pressure off of Stephen because their guards were fast and disrupted our half-court offense. Jarrett came in and was a calming affect. Ultimately we won this game on the defensive end. We found a way to stop them and were dominating and imposed our will."
Draymond Green
On his game-winning basket:
"With the last shot the coach didn’t point out who specifically was going to be taking the shot. He said we’re going to go out there, we’re going to find who’s open and we’re going to make the best play."

On the game:
"We’re just going to keep on doing the same thing we’ve been doing. We’re going to continue to play hard, continue playing defense, sharing the ball and trying to push the tempo."
Jarrett Jack
On his game-winning assist to Draymond Green:
"They helped a little bit too hard on Klay and Draymond was able to set the screen. Something that we’ve been talking about all week, because we know they’re a big time show team. I saw him down low. He did the hard part making the basket ... We have to know that we’re one of those teams that we feel we belong. We feel we belong amongst the elite. Don’t be surprised with the things we do on this nice journey."
Klay Thompson
On the team:
"We’re showing people that we’re going to bring it every night this year. We got a chance to be special."

On the team's final offensive possession:
"I felt Battier come with me on that last possession and Draymond did a great job making himself available."
David Lee
On tonight's game:
"We came into the season, they said we had a zero percent chance of making the playoffs. We’re going to finish 13th in the West. We had a lot of attacks on our players personally and negative things going into the season, but all we’re trying to do is just win as a team. We improved two things. We improved our defense. We improved our rebounding. We do those two things, we have enough offensive talent to give ourselves a chance to win."

gswscribe: Consensus in the locker room was Warriors don't mind if defenses load up on Curry (including Curry). "Pick your poison," one said
gswscribe: There was one gripe I heard in locker room. "I don't like how we celebrated. San Antonio doesn't do that. The OKC don't do that."
