Golden State Warriors @ Orlando Magic: We got 5 on it, but want 6!

The Warriors look to avenge their tragic loss from 10 days ago at home and go for 6 wins in a row.

STOP THE MADNESS.

Warriors (15-7) vs Magic (8-13)

I don't think anyone would have predicted the Warriors to reel off 5 straight W's on the road after their frustrating loss to the Magic on the Roaracle floor.

Come on fellas. Let's not tragically end the win streak in the Magic Kingdom.

Keys to the Game

1) STOP Glen Davis

10 days ago I wrote this:

Watching Glenn Davis play on the hardwood is like watching a 300 pound defensive end play the game of basketball. Whether it's the slow motion or the odd exaggerated shots, it's just tough to watch. Call the Fun Police because that was not a fun 24 points.

Seriously, it not fun watching Glen Davis light up the Warriors. It is equally not fun watching him play basketball. The madness must stop tonight. Davis is too big for David Lee and Carl Landry. Andris Biedrins is useless. That leaves Festus Ezeli. It's time to step up rookie. We believe in you.

2) STOP J.J. Redick

When you're facing a hot shooter the simplest thing to do is just deny them from even catching the rock with a decent look at the basket. It's Basketball 101, but something the Warriors coaches did not implement or the Warriors players did not execute last time around against the Magic. Whatever it was, it can not happen again tonight.

3) No 4th Quarter Collapse Allowed

It's going to take a full 48 minutes of focus and a smart effort tonight to get 6 in a row. This is not only quite possible, but something I'm going to say is very probable.

Let's get this W.

Predictions

  • Stephen Curry bounces back from his 9 point, 7 assist : 6 turnover outing with 25 points and 10 assists.
  • Glen Davis is stopped.
  • David Lee shows why he belongs on the 2013 Western Conference All-Star roster with his SIXTH STRAIGHT 20-10 game. (Can you believe 2 years ago some people wanted to use the amnesty clause on Lee instead of Biedrins?!)
  • JJ Redick is stopped.
  • Harrison Barnes gives us some more of this:

  • Warriors by 3.
