Warriors vs. Celtics: Postgame Interviews (12/29/12) by Warriors
Mark Jackson
On shooting 51 percent from the field:
"We did a great job of sharing the basketball, being unselfish and making plays for one another. We just made good reads coming out of our sets. This is a very good defensive team that gets after you. They tried to attack Steph (Stephen Curry) by trapping him on pick-and-rolls, but we read it and we made the adjustments. My guys were extremely unselfish making plays for one another."

On winning 12 games in December:
"We just keep it moving. For great history or bad history, we don’t claim it. We respect it, appreciate it, but it’s not our history. This is our second December. Bottom line is, it’s been a great year for us – 2012 has been really good to us. We will put it behind us and look forward to doing great things in 2013. I’m extremely proud of this group. I know it sounds like a broken record, but I really believe that bigger things lie ahead than what we just accomplished."

On Harrison Barnes:
"He makes us better. When you talk about (Jarrett) Jack coming off the bench and finishing games with Klay (Thompson) and Steph (Stephen Curry) – I thought matchup style tonight the athleticism and the length of Harrison (Barnes) I thought he did a very good job making Paul Pierce work for his shots. You’re not going to stop him, but he stayed in the picture and contested shots. I wanted to keep length on (Paul) Pierce. Majority of the nights Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry are going to be on the floor, it’s just the question of whether Jarrett Jack or Harrison (Barnes) – Jack has been laying lights out, but Harrison (Barnes) maybe doing all the right things and not finish games. We will make the decisions on what puts us in the best possible position to win ball games and we’ll run with that. He played very aggressive and was in attack mode early and had it going offensively. Whether he’s playing five minutes, 20 minutes, 30 minutes or 40 minutes we need him to be in attack mode at all times."

On being pleased with the team's success:
"I will not be satisfied and we will not be satisfied as a team. We will enjoy the success that we have had, but we will not fall in love with what we have been able to do thus far. Situations like that are set ups to let your guard down and get knocked out. We have done nothing. We will continue to put our foot on the gas pedal and finish this thing out the right way."
Stephen Curry
On his mindset entering the game:
"One of the main things was going out and being aggressive. I didn’t get many shots off early, I had to shift the ball and guys were making plays at the other end. The only thing we have to cut out is turnovers and we’ll be alright."

On turning the ball over:
"It’s just about an endgame situation where we have to take care of the ball."

On what he's doing differently defensively this season:
"I don’t really know, to me it’s a commitment. We’re even having multiple situations where you might even get beat but you get back there and help out. We care about each other and we want to make sure that no one is left out to dry. We’re just relentless."
David Lee
On getting 12 wins in December:
"All those things we don’t worry about. Every single game we just try on getting better and better. I thought our defense played a big role again tonight by holding them under 40 percent and made up for the fact that we didn’t have our best night offensively as far as turnovers. I’m proud of our guys for defending the way we did and getting another win."

On earning multiple days off:
"Most guys will definitely take tomorrow off and rest. I know personally I don’t do well when I take more than one day. I will be back to work the day after tomorrow because I definitely want to break a sweat and put some shots up."
