On Tonight's Game:
"We got man-handled on the boards. Their four and five positions dominated us on the glass. We didn't step up to the challenge. At times it's individual, and other times it's collective. It's a mentality, a mindset. We didn't put forth the effort. They came out of the locker room (at the half) and scored 34 points in the third quarter. They out-worked us. We are going to have to look in the mirror individually and collectively and own up to the lack of effort. At the end of the day they out-worked us. Their starters out-scored us 104 to 63. You can sugarcoat it all you want, but that's bad basketball. We turned the ball over again and again. We gave up second-chance points and other opportunities. The things that you are not supposed to do on the road, we found a way to do it. That's why we are leaving here with a loss."
On The Play Of His Reserves:
"Our bench played incredible. It was outstanding. I look forward to the day where I'm not a coach standing on the side questioning if I need to put my starters back into the game. That's not a good feeling. You are supposed to have guys you can rely on that can pick it up when needed. Our bench just played at a different level. Nate (Robinson) was not ready to come back in (after sustaining an injury), and I got caught up in the moment and put him back in. Obviously he wasn't going to be loose, and clearly wasn't himself when he came back in. That's on me. Nate said he was ready when he came back and he wasn't."
On Being Out-Rebounded:
"Jason Kidd (Dallas Mavericks guard) is one of the all time great rebounders in this league. It's a mindset. I'm not going to hang it on my power forwards and centers, although a chunk of the rebounds go to them. We have to be of the mindset that five guys, in order to close out a defensive possession, have to go out and secure the basketball. We are not doing that, and we are paying the price. It saps your energy when you give up second-chance opportunities and you have to do it all over again."
David Lee
On Tonight's Game:
"We're a team. Second unit came in and did a great job of getting inside in the fourth quarter. They made plays in overtime to beat us. As a team it's discouraging we lost again."
On The Third Quarter:
"They played well. We came out. We took care of the glass in the third quarter better than we had in the first half but Marcus Thornton hit some shots. He's the one that got hot and primarily got us there. Our turnovers once again led the way in fastbreak points."
Nate Robinson
On Tonight's Game:
"We played hard for the most part. It's just that they're a great offensive rebounding team and they just get after it. They don't run a lot of sets and it's not to perfection but one thing take my hat off to the Sacramento Kings is they just play hard. They don't care what happens. They just play hard and challenged us and we accepted the challenge. They kind of wanted it a little more than us."
On The Bench's Play:
"We just play hard. Period. Sometimes our first unit is not always going to bring us energy. That's our job. That's why we come off the bench. It's to bring the team energy and build it up for the guys, the starting five. I think our bench just buys into it. We do a great job of playing the supporting role. Our starters have been playing great and as the bench our job is to bring energy."
