Warriors vs. Bucks Postgame Interviews (3/16/12) by GoldenStateWarriors
Mark Jackson
On The Emotion Of Tonight's Game:
"Great to see them and nothing, but love and respect for them. Wish them the very best."

On Attributing The Slow Start To Emotion:
"I don't think that way so I can't comprehend that taking place. The mindset should be 'hello, nice to see you congratulations and let's hit the deck and let's go - I'm going at you'. Obviously, that wasn't our mindset tonight. We took all the punches and threw none. For the first time in a while we didn't make the team that we played against feel us. They did whatever they wanted to do."

On The Points In The Paint Discrepancy:
"I don't think that way so I can't comprehend that taking place. The mindset should be 'hello, nice to see you congratulations and let's hit the deck and let's go - I'm going at you'. Obviously, that wasn't our mindset tonight. We took all the punches and threw none. For the first time in a while we didn't make the team that we played against feel us. They did whatever they wanted to do."

On Being Down Starters To The Bucks:
"The guys that we have - their character speaks volumes. I don't believe we have to go into the locker-room and beg them to respond after a poor effort tonight. I believe the guys that we have will respond. History tells me that they are just as upset as I am right now. We'll put forth a better effort tomorrow night."
David Lee
On Playing Against Former Teammates:
"That was the crazy thing, having it be their first game. I've been in plenty of situations like that in New York where a third of the league played on our team in a four-year period and to see everyone come back. The crazy thing was in fact that it was their first game, it doesn't take away from that we just didn't play a good ball game. I felt what we accomplished the last two games where we shared the ball well, our defense intensity, controlling the glass and all those things went out the window tonight."

On Interacting With Former Teammates During The Game:
"No, other than the initial fives before the jump ball it was business as usual. I had six turnovers tonight so maybe there was a point I thought I was passing it to our team but it was actually the other team. We just played a bad ball game and they outplayed us from the start. Maybe if it was more competitive there could've been more emotion involved but I was just out there thinking about how upset we were and playing."

Notes

- From Rusty's pregame and Joe Lacob, the Warriors are considering shutting down Stephen Curry for the rest of the season.

What's next?

- Yes, there's ANOTHER game tomorrow, and it's 1 1/2 hour earlier than tonight, and it's on the road in Utah against the Jazz (21-22), who did not play tonight. Huff puff.
