Las Vegas Summer League Open Thread: Which Non-Warriors Have Impressed You Most In NBA Summer League?

New, comments

The Golden State Warriors have a break in their Las Vegas Summer League schedule before finishing up with back-to-back games tomorrow and Saturday, but there are still seven games scheduled for today as already outlined in SB Nation's NBA summer league storystream.

1 p.m. PST -- New York Knicks vs. Toronto Raptors

3 p.m. PST -- Portland Trail Blazers vs. Atlanta Hawks

3:30 p.m. PST -- Boston Celtics vs. Sacramento Kings

5 p.m. PST -- Cleveland vs. Minnesota

5:30 p.m. PST -- Los Angeles Clippers vs. Los Angeles Lakers

7 p.m. PST -- NBA D-League Select vs. Milwaukee Bucks

7:30 p.m. PST -- Charlotte Bobcats vs. Denver Nuggets

As usual, the storystream highlights a few players to watch for today but Zach Lowe of SI.com also mentioned 11 players that have stood out to him thus far earlier this morning:

  • Royce White, Houston Rockets
  • Jeremy Lamb, Houston Rockets
  • Terrence Jones, Houston Rockets
  • Scott Machado, Houston Rockets
  • John Henson, Milwaukee Bucks
  • Tobias Harris, Milwaukee Bucks
  • Bradley Beal, Washington Wizards
  • Meyers Leonard, Portland Trail Blazers
  • Damian Lillard, Portland Trail Blazers
  • Jared Sullinger, Boston Celtics
  • Fab Melo, Boston Celtics

You can check out Lowe's extended observations here and I wouldn't read into the lack of Warriors players on that list too much - Lowe has only been in Vegas since Monday and as such only saw the Warriors last night. And I can't fault him for not giving much consideration to anyone in that game. For some "outsider" observations on Warriors' standouts, check out Kevin Pelton's weekend recap at Basketball Prospectus.

In any event, the combination of Lowe's list and the Warriors' off day provides occasion to ask a question: Which non-Warriors players have impressed you most thus far in summer league?

Vote in the poll below based on selections from Lowe and Pelton but also feel free to drop your thoughts in the comments along with any other commentary on today's games.
