GSoM Debate: Is Kobe Bryant the "Player of the Century"?

According to Dime Magazine, Kobe Bryant is the "Player of the Century" (i.e. best player since Y2K). Normally, I'd just write a snippy comment on their website and be done with it. But it's slow times around here, and I thought to myself, why not let's have a debate on this subject? Choose your pick among the (numerous) poll choices (I won't bias you with my preference, which may or may not be Kobe). The players listed in the poll either won an MVP award or made All-NBA first team at least twice since 2000. Have fun!
