Mark Jackson
On Damian Lillard:
"I’ve watched him since Chicago’s pre-draft camp, a little bit in college and we worked him out here – I don’t think it did anything for him. He’s a heck of a basketball player no matter where he is. It’s great to see it because of the way he conducts himself and the way he plays - great poise. He’s going to be around for a long time. We’re going to have to deal with him. A great performance by him."
On defending LaMarcus Aldridge:
"He’s as good as it gets at the power forward position. With guys that talented you don’t take credit when they have tough nights because I don’t want blame when they have huge nights. At the end of the day, we tried to keep him out of rhythm and tried to get him to defend on the other end. I don’t want to take any credit individually or collectively for his night."
On seeing the big lead nearly disappear:
"This is a team that shot 43 three pointers. When you can get up shots like that and get hot you are going to be in ballgames. I think it’s good for us overall because we found a way, even though they got hot and spread the court with shooters - you have to put together a string of stops and then some quality possessions on the offensive end. 11 turnovers, we took care of the basketball. 28 assists we were unselfish on the offensive end. This is preparing us. Like I told my guys, where we expect to go, in these games, you are going to have to find a way to stop special players and this is great preparation for us."
On Draymond Green defending Damian Lillard:
"He was guarding him off of a switch on a pick-and-roll. He was not the primary defender against him. I have better options; with all due respect - Stephen Curry is a big time defensive point guard. I thought Klay Thompson did a very good job. I have confidence in Draymond’s (Green) ability to guard anybody on the floor – that’s why he’s out there."
David Lee
On taking extra pride in matching up with LaMarcus Aldridge:
"I’m confident as long as we keep winning, this guy versus that guy stuff will work itself out. I’m happy to finally be on a winning team and that’s the most important thing right now."
On seeing the big lead nearly disappear:
"I’m happy we had such a big lead because when [Damian] Lillard started doing what Lillard did we had ourselves a cushion. There are players in this league that are very tough when they get going. He hit some very difficult shots and we gave him some easy looks on top of it. That’s why you get the lead that you do so you can manage that and give him credit for playing a good game. We have to do a better job of when a guy gets going like that to take him out of the game and make someone else beat us."
On the upcoming schedule:
"This is a tough stretch for us. Every team has to play everybody. We are just going to take it one game at a time and we’re going to get some oxygen right now, then go to Denver and we plan on going there and getting a victory."
Stephen Curry
On tonight's game:
"For two and a half quarters – in the first half and most of the third – we had control of the game and were able to do the things we like to do on offense, then (Damian) Lillard got hot. Not to take away from his night, he made the shots, but we’ve got to find a way to stop a guy when he has it going like that."
On keeping his rythem despite Portland's defense:
"I just stayed confident. We had good ball movement I think the whole game. We got touches and went and made plays."
On team's difficulty stopping Portland in second half:
"Lillard was coming off ball screens knocking down shots, then they put in (Luke) Babbitt and had a small lineup so we had to rotate and cover the paint. They made tough shots and you can’t take away from that, but for the most part we have to find a way to guard that lineup if they keep knocking down shots throughout the game."
On Damian Lillard:
"He has talent. He’s probably going to be Rookie of the Year and he showed a lot tonight. I look forward to playing him again, hopefully we stop him."

Notes
- Andris Biedrins DNP because of a strained right groin.
What's next?
- This is our last match with the McNuggets, and we have a chance to even the season series. But we only barely won in our 1 victory against them, and we'll be at their place. Based on the past matches and tonight's performance, I'm, uh, totally convinced we got this.
