First off, a big thank you to the Nuggets for softening up the Clippers in Denver last night. Not that it'll matter, they're still best in the West and I'm sure vengeance (I guess you could call it that?) or rebounding back from a loss is top priority for them.
It's my first preview in a few weeks and with that being said, this has been a fun ride for Warriors fans everywhere. Wins stacked on top of wins with a few losses here and there. The feeling is great for those who've patiently waited a long time for this.
Let's get down to business. The "other" LA team is in town and this would be a huge opportunity to snatch a win. It's the first of 2 back to back Warriors - Clippers match ups! (second one in LA)
Here the rundown on the Clippers & fact you already know about the Warriors:
- The Clippers had a bad shooting night against the Nuggets last night. They shot 38.5% percent and 17.2% at the 3-point line. Road game woes, they need to make adjustments. A rarity this season for them.
- Minus last nights loss, LA's (the other team, lol) still has the best record in the NBA, came off an incredible 17 game win streak with an assortment of talent on the court.
- The Dubs are the second best team in the Pacific Western Conference, let's show em' why! We've got a 12-4 record in the month of December & a home crowd atmosphere tonight. We gotta be on our best.
The Lee & Curry factor: both recording 20+ point nights against the Celtics with an incredible bench aka the "Dubstitutes" backing them up.They're ranked third in the league rebounding.
