Mark Jackson
On his defense tonight:
"I thought it was outstanding. We had some breakdowns, which unfortunately, you expect when you develop a cushion or a lead. Overall, I thought we did an outstanding job of being aggressive and taking their homerun hitters out of the equation."

On his timeout to start the second half when the Kings went on an 8-0 run:
"One thing I realize in this league, as a player, sometimes you don't have to call timeout and say anything. They understood what was happening. They understood that we were careless with the basketball, understood that they started to close the gap and they also understood that after the timeout they had to execute and that's exactly what they did. I'm proud of my guys - big win for us."

On their defense against DeMarcus Cousins:
"He's a heck of a basketball player that is having an outstanding start to this season - a handful. Give credit to Andrew Bogut, the job that he does for us anchoring our defense. He's very vocal and we stayed true to our principles defensively and came in with a game plan and executed it. We could've done the same thing and he could have had a big night."

On when Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson are playing well simultaneously:
"They are two great shooters. Great, great shooters. I don't think it's about them getting it going, that's who they are and it's amazing. These guys put a lot of time into it, they have an incredible gift and it's a beautiful thing. Very fortunate to have a front row seat watching those two guys shoot the basketball."

On going to Andrew Bogut on the first play of the game:
"Last two years Stephen Curry has called out the first play. I go to the huddle and ask 'What do we have?'. He calls it. I'm challenging him to be the leader, to be the guy running the show and be my lead assistant. He's done an outstanding job. He was just trying to get Bogs (Andrew Bogut) to be aggressive."

On getting some players rest before the four game road trip:
"This is what the good teams do. The Sacramento Kings played last night in a hard fought battle and traveled here. The good teams take care of business. This was a game we were supposed to win and get some rest. Now we move on to the trip. I thought it was important for our guys to get their work in and we got a quality win against a team that has been playing very good basketball."

On Stephen Curry's turnovers:
"He understands that he has to be better. He understands that if we are going to achieve our vision he's got to take care of the basketball. That's unacceptable. He knows it so there is no sense in me beating him upside the head. What will not happen is I'm not taking him out."
Stephen Curry
On the defensive effort:
"It was solid. We were flying around, rotating, forcing the tough jump shots and pushing them off the post. That's a situation where we're going to be in good position to let our defense feed our offense, especially early in the game."

On the momentum from getting the win before a road trip:
"For sure, you want to feel good before getting on the plane tomorrow and traveling, but we know going into Philly they're a hot team right now, 3-0. They've got some players playing at a high level, so we've got to come out ready to go start the road trip off on a good foot."

On playing better against Sacramento:
"I mean it's a good start for us. We have to play them three more times. They're a team that's in our division that beat us three out of four times last year. We had to sneak in a win at home, so they've gotten the best of us. These are the games that we need to win along the way to put ourselves in a great position down the road. Obviously, we have another game on Monday. We have to turn the page, but this is a big win for us."

On going to Andrew Bogut early:
"You get your big man touches and let him know we appreciate all the screens and anchoring our defense and making plays. For him to get those touches early, get a rhythm and make their big defend makes the job easier on everyone too."
Klay Thompson
On whether there's anything else he would have liked to do in this game:
"I didn't dunk on anyone. I want to dunk on someone this year that's my plan."

On what he added to his game this season:
"I'm just taking my time and being more patient. I thought I had the skills last year, but this year I'm not just going at one speed and not rushing."

On Andrew Bogut:
"He's the anchor of our defense, great communicator out there, fiery competitor and he'll lift us up when we are down. He strikes fear in the perimeter players on the other team when they go at the rim. Great shot blocker for us, one of the best in the league."
David Lee
On feeling good beating a team that gave them a hard time last season:
"Yeah, it was a good game for us, especially after we built a lead in the preseason although it was preseason and they were able to come back. It was nice for us to follow through tonight and get a good convincing victory at home. It's especially important since we're about to go on the road. I thought it was important that we got this win and went to 2-1."

On how Klay Thompson's play helps the team:
"It helps us that much more, and not so much hitting shots like that but defensively. I thought he was great tonight, and overall when our team defends like that it makes it easy for us."

On getting the first double digit rebounds:
"Oh man, it changes my life. Sometimes the ball just doesn't bounce your way, and if me getting rebounds is our biggest problem we'll be just fine. That's something I think I have a nose for that's eventually going to pan out over an 82-game season. It's good to get back in the double digit category there and to clean up the defensive glass for us. It helped us get a victory tonight."
