Mark Jackson
On the last play:
"Russell (Westbrook) wanted the basketball more than anyone else on the floor. He had great will, made a big play and we didn’t go get the basketball. Overall, I thought the energy and effort was great. I thought we competed against good team and in their building."
On defending Kevin Durant:
"He’s a great player and as good as a scorer this league has seen, but we did a good job competing and trying to get on to him, contest shots."
On the loss:
"Its tough, it’s very tough. I thought we competed, I thought we got great looks, we executed down the stretch. Its just the last possession, leaves a bad taste in your mouth when you don’t finish up a possession."
On what you can take away from this game:
"We know who we are, so it’s a tough loss. It’s a good basketball team but we know who we are."
On defensive changes:
"We just did what we do better, and that’s what it boiled down too. We made them work and that was the only adjustment. We began to defend the way we are capable of defending and it made a difference."
Stephen Curry
On the game-winning shot by Russell Westbrook:
"It was a fortunate bounce for them, obviously Russ (Westbrook) was able to get a hand on it, right to Sefolosha who gladly threw it right back to him. A lot of good things happened for them in that possession. It’s frustrating for us tonight."
"We fought hard the whole way through. We made plays to put us in position to win the game. It came down to a freak play like that. Some would say it was payback from last game, but I thought we played well enough to win this game."
"We gave up an opportunity tonight. We’re way past moral victories for this organization, so this was hopefully a learning lesson for us to help us find a way to finish the game."
Klay Thompson
On the matchup between the two teams:
“They have two superstars that can convert plays. They do that very well, and it was just tough on us tonight. It’s on me though. I should have grabbed that ball going out of bounds.”
On the team moving forward:
“Just trust each other and play the way we know how to, that’s when we win. Our defense was good tonight. There were just a couple key rebounds that got away from us, and that was it. It all boiled down to one possession. You can’t ask for a better position to be in, they just made a tough shot.”

JonSeaton18: @ThompsonScribe @B_Trail707 @domskii23 the view from above looked pretty conclusive. His foot was just behind the line.
