Mark Jackson
On tonight's game:
“I’m very disappointed. It’s very easy to make the excuse that we played last night, but that’s not an excuse. We didn’t execute. They were the more physical team and it’s just a disappointing loss for us.

On Zach Randolph:
"Zach is a guy that can score on anybody and when he gets it going, he’s a handful. He got it going and made life tough for us. I don’t think that was the ballgame. You can point to a number of guys that had their way tonight."

On the road trip:
"Anytime you lose ballgames, you’re disappointed. We’re certainly disappointed the way we ended this road trip. Now it’s about going back home, getting some rest, and then preparing to get back to who we truly are.”

On Stephen Curry:
“I thought he was fine. He had it going for a little bit and made some plays. I thought he was fine and that’s good to see.”
Andre Iguodala
On tonight's game:
“I think they did a good job of executing. Their bigs did a good job of playing high-low basketball. Marc Gasol was effective early making jump shots. We had to adjust to that. Z-Bo (Zach Randolph) got it going a little bit in the second half and then Mike Miller hit some threes, so they kind of had it spread out all over the place and we just couldn’t contain them."

On the Grizzlies:
“They’ve (Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph) been playing together for a long time so they have really good chemistry. Mike Conley had a huge impact on the game with his quickness. They just do a good job of all being on a string. You’ve got to give them credit. They went to the Western Conference Finals last year and every game was within a bucket of the Spurs, so they’re a seasoned team and they did a good job tonight.”

On the road trip:
“We won the first two, which we should have. Last night we didn’t play well but we just came up short. Tonight, you know, we should’ve gotten this game as well. We look at it as, ‘How do we get back?’. Turnovers were high tonight, they scored a lot of points in the paint, and they out rebounded us so it’s something we have to continue to get better at.”
Klay Thompson
On tonight's game:
“Not quite the defense we’ve come to expect from these guys tonight, we kind of broke down. We gave up a lot of paint scores tonight and our defense and rebounding wasn’t very good. They’re very tough. I think that’s why they made it to the Western Conference Finals last year. They’re one of the better frontcourts in the NBA so we prepared for them, we just have to do a better job the next time they come to our building.

“I don’t think it was an energy thing. I just think it was more of (us) not playing well together, and just kind of ignoring the game plan at times on the defensive end.“

On the road trip:
“It was so-so. It would have been nice to go out 3-1, but we’ve still got an opportunity to go home and separate ourselves.”

Notes

- No interesting notes tonight.

What's next?

- Two days of much needed rest after two rough games. Our game against the Pistons will be on NBATV. We should mop up the Pistons and rest up for another big challenge on Thursday, the OKC Thunder.
