Golden State Warriors vs. Sacramento Kings game thread: Is it a trap?

New, comments

The Golden State Warriors will host the Sacramento Kings tonight at 7:30 p.m. PST at Oracle Arena.

The big news of the day for Sacramento Kings fans is hardly this game; it's that the fate of their team now lies in the NBA's hands.

Without taking a position on whether the NBA should allow the franchise to move - and acknowledging that quite a few Golden State Warriors fans strongly dislike the Kings - you have to feel for the fans whose future as "hometown fans" is in doubt.

Not overlooking the significance of this game for Warriors fans, but it's worth checking out the work that Sactown Royalty has been doing to keep up with the latest on that unfolding saga.

For more on this game, check out our preview and their fan predictions.

Predictions:

  • The Warriors, with Bogut rounding into defensive form, contain Cousins who does score in double figures but does so inefficiently.
  • The Warriors win the rebounding battle, not a given in this series so far this year.
  • Klay Thompson comes up with a big defensive play that has people discussing whether they like Klay Thompson.

Verdict: Warriors win by 4, to keep the pattern in the series going.
