The 2013 Las Vegas Summer League is almost upon us and the Golden State Warriors have finally announced their official roster.
There are only a few differences from the last version of the roster that we published on June 29:
- D.J. Cooper, Warren Niles, Kwame Vaughn, and Mouphtaou Yarou have added
- 2012 second round pick Ognjen Kuzmic has been removed from the roster as he suffered an injury that won't allow him to play.
- 2013 first round draft pick Nemanja Nedovic will play in only one game.
It looks like Nemanja Nedovic will participate in at least part of summer league with the Warriors

We actually had a few links about Cooper in the comments of the last post, but here's some brief information on the other three additions.
Warren Niles, G (6-foot-5, Oral Roberts): The most in-depth introduction to Niles appears to be a feature from ORU Video.
You can see his statistics - though not a scouting report - at DraftExpress.
Kwame Vaughn, G (6-foot-3, Fullerton): A Skyline product, Vaughn originally attended the University of San Francisco before transferring to Cal State - Fullerton. One thing that stands out in his statistics, though again no DraftExpress scouting report: he had true shooting percentages of 60% and 59% in his junior and senior years, respectively. In addition to knocking down threes at a decent rate, he earned 7.5 free throw attempts per game in his senior year.
And here's a video of him working out locally at Merritt College.
Mouphtaou Yarou, C (6-foot-9, Villanova): Yarou is arguably the best of the new additions we're looking at today as DraftExpress had him ranked #48 among seniors and last updated their prospect profile of him in October.
SB Nation's Villanova site VU Hoops also has some information on him:
-
Yarou was the winner of the Villanova Basketball Award, "...given to the Villanova basketball player, 'who best embodies the core values of Villanova Basketball by playing hard, playing together and playing with pride.'"
- He also participated in the Portsmouth Invitational and had some strong rebounding games.
