Dreamcatcher made a good point in the comments of Jared Stearne's commentary about Byron Scott's approach to three point shooting: the best revenge on the L.A. Lakers and their fans would be to systematically ignore their misery instead of bashing them.
And I feel that: Warriors fans harping on the Lakers' misery all season would just ooze the insecurity borne of the NBA fan equivalent of new money. We've had some success and are bound to have more, but why flaunt it, right?
Then again, why not? This is the Lakers - they are the Evil Empire. They've inflicted pain upon all the citizens of the Pacific for so long. And it's just so much easier to make tonight's game an official Laker Hater's Ball at Oracle Arena.
So...I'll leave it to you to decide how you feel about the Lakers this season - they're going to be bad and tonight probably won't help their confidence. But since we're on the subject of Jared's first post, I highly recommend that you check out our announcement of new writers, welcome them all into the fold, and give them a follow on Twitter.
Enjoy the game, whether reveling in the Lakers' misery or celebrating a Warriors' win - I will judge neither.
