Golden State Warriors vs Detroit Pistons: Just Keep Winning Dub Nation!

New, comments

So it begins… (in a wicked medieval voice, lol) The Warriors begin a hectic 6 game road trip across the East Coast that will test our squad to their limits. We can come home winners or come home scratching our head?! First stop: Detroit, where it's cold & the Pistons are hungry for a win after Saturday's loss vs the Dallas Mavericks. Here we go: Warriors gunning for win number 4 (after the All-Star break) against the Pistons. Dubs All Day!

Hi-5 Dub Nation!

On the road again... How the Dubs will match up against Detroit:

X-Factor: Jermaine O'Neal. What else can we say about J.O.'s performance against the Nets last Saturday? 23 points & 13 rebounds says it all. He came up BIG and we're gonna need that going into tonight's game. Andre Drummond & Josh Smith are a pretty tall order to defend! With Lee & Bogut questionable for tonight's game, Jermaine's services on both offense & defense are needed throughout this road trip.

Splash Brothers time: Stephen Curry & Klay Thompson combined for 52 points Saturday night. If these fellas go automatic tonight in and around the 3-point line it's can spell trouble for Detroit.

Contain Josh Smith: That's a tall order for our bigs depending on Lee or Bogut's availability. Smith scored a season-high 32 points vs the Mavs on Saturday. Gotta contain him Dubs, lets not give him a career night opportunity!

Steve Blake's just getting started: It's too early to judge but I like Steve in a Warriors jersey so far. Solid shooter, fantastic passer & good vision around the court. He's gonna make an impact off the bench for our squad. Looking forward to seeing more positives in this road trip.

Predictions: (in the form of Hip-Hop quotable)

"Today was a good day." (Ice Cube) - Jermaine O'Neal with a monster night.

"Heat it up." (Bubba Sparxxx) - Splash Brothers high shooting percentage kind of night. Start off strong fellas!

"Grindin'" (The Clipse) - Grinding out mad assists between Stephen Curry & Steve Blake. Sharing is caring Dub Nation! Look for great ball movement tonight.

"Woo Hah!!! Got you all in check!" (Busta Rhymes) - Warriors win by 5.

"1nce Again" (A Tribe Called Quest) - If we don't win by 5, Andre Iguodala with the road win buzzer beater. ALWAYS exciting to see.
