On the game:

“We fought. We made some mistakes and things didn’t go our way, but I saw a lot of good things out there. Tough loss, and now it’s about regrouping and putting on another run. But I like the way we battled.”

On defending Blake Griffin:

“Make [Blake Griffin] hit the jump shot. That’s how you play LeBron James. It doesn’t change. It’s not saying that he can’t make it, but you’re playing the numbers. At the end of the day he’s a spectacular finisher, he’s a skilled player, and you want to force him into contested jump shots. So you live with the results.”

On the game:

“We fought hard to the end and just… I lose the ball a couple of times, they get the big put-back and kind of take control with under six minutes in the fourth. We played a pretty solid game all the way through, but I don’t think fatigue had anything to do with it, just didn’t make the right plays down the stretch.”

On the overall play of the game:

“[In the fourth quarter] I think we were down, seven, six, something like that. We got a few buckets, cut it down a little bit, but eventually they, by committee, kind of wore us down a little bit and lived at the free-throw line a little bit. But give them credit. They played well throughout the game. I thought we competed hard. We didn’t have our best game, but overall you can take a loss like this and learn from it.”

On playoff-like intensity in games versus the Clippers:

“Between these two teams, there was that kind of intensity in December when we were playing each other. Not to hype it up at all, but there is no love lost between these two teams. Both teams are teams that play hard to begin with and are very competitive. [It was a] very good four games between the two teams this regular season. Who knows what’s going to happen playoff time, if we’ll see them again, but both teams are playing very good basketball right now.”

Andrew Bogut
On the game:

“It was just tough. They went on a run, ran the ball back at us, a couple of good offensive rebounds, and we just kind of broke out of flow. We battled for the most part. Our team should be proud of the way we played even though we lost. I look forward to seeing them in the future.”

On playoff-like intensity in games versus the Clippers:

“The theatrics of the game, when we play the Clippers, is pretty much [like the playoffs]. The guys get frustrated at times, there’s a lot of physicality and so on.”

On games versus the Clippers not always being pure basketball:

“Like I said, there is a lot of different theatrics that go on within a basketball game just in general. But this series, on both sides, tops the cake.”
