Golden State Warriors summer league players Travis Bader and Aaron Craft will take the court for the Philadelphia 76ers summer squad today at 5 p.m. on Day 2 of the Orlando Summer Pro League.
The schedule (from SB Nation's Orlando Pinstriped Post):
12 PM: Memphis Grizzlies (1-0, 1st place) at Detroit Pistons (1-0, 2nd place)
2 PM: Philadelphia 76ers (0-1, T-6th place) at Oklahoma City Thunder (0-1, 10th place)
4 PM: Miami Heat (0-1, T-6th place) at Brooklyn Nets (1-0, T-3rd place)
Mike Levin of SB Nation's 76ers site Liberty Ballers offered the following on Bader and Craft after Day 1:
-- Just as I was getting on board with Aaron Craft making the Sixers for #jokes, he turned the ball over twice and missed two foul shots. I think I'd steal be in (#jokes, c'mon), but he's just not good enough at enough things.
-- Travis Bader can do even less things than Aaron Craft.
Ok, then...let's hope for more on Day 2.
Also on Day 1, Santa Cruz Warriors star Seth Curry played for the Orlando Magic summer league team (idle today) and Adam Johnson of SeaDubs Central offered the following observations in addition to thoughts about Dewayne Dedmon:
Curry’s stat line is slightly better, finishing 3-of-9 from the field and scoring nine points. Curry was 2-of-6 from 3-point range, dished out two assists and grabbed two steals in just less than 24 minutes of play.
Cam Jones, also playing for the Magic, didn’t play along with nine other players as it appears the Magic have split the squad into two separate groups.
