Draymond Green wants 100% Steve Kerr or no Steve Kerr

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr is currently on a leave of absence from the team for what turned out to be a spinal fluid leak during a July 28th surgery on a ruptured disk.

There's currently no real timetable for Kerr's return to his head coaching duties, but Draymond Green says he needs to take all the time he needs.

It's good, it's the best thing for this team, because we need Coach Kerr. We don't need Coach Kerr who's just over there who's just sitting back quietly. We need our guy, so we need him to get better. It'll be better for his personal health and it'll be better for this team.

Kerr's instance is very rare, and a bit complicated. Kerr explained it as his body having to recalibrate itself after the loss of spinal fluid. Fortunately the franchise is in a spot to let their head coach heal up the proper way.
