During the Golden State Warriors' 114-103 loss to the Denver Nuggets, Harrison Barnes left the game with a knee injury in the second quarter and did not return. The Warriors announced during the game that he had a sprained right knee.

After the game, Warriors interim coach Luke Walton said that Barnes' current status is day-to-day.

Although Barnes' health and speedy recovery is clearly the chief concern, it's hard not to think about how an injury could end up affecting his ongoing contract extension negotiations.
