After witnessing the nightmarish beauty that was Stephen Curry slip-sliding around the icy court on Saturday, it really sounds like a brilliant idea to sit him for the Golden State Warriors' penultimate preseason game tonight.
Both Curry and 2015 NBA Finals MVP Andre Iguodala will be resting tonight against the L.A. Clippers while Andrew Bogut will remain out after suffering a broken nose, which he just underwent surgery for yesterday.
However it isn't all bad news tonight: Harrison Barnes will make his return to action tonight after recovering from a knee injury suffered against the Nuggets last week. Of course, Luke Walton says that preseason games aren't used for evaluation as much as practice, but you can bet that Warriors fans will watch Barnes' performance tonight with interest as his contract extension deadline rapidly approaches.
Surely, the Clippers will look to rest some of their stars as well, but that's just more opportunity for Barnes to show what he can do.
