Warriors vs Kings: Predictions, start time, TV schedule, live stream, odds and more

Warriors look to extend their 21 game regular season winning streak against their Northern California rivals.

Kelley L Cox-USA TODAY Sports

After torching the Suns last night in Phoenix, the Golden State Warriors return to Oakland to take on the Sacramento Kings. Golden State is not only undefeated on the season at 17-0, but have also won every game played in the Saturday Slate Night jersey's dating back to 2014-2015. Tip-off is slated for 7:30 p.m. PST and will be broadcasted live on CSN Bay Area. It will be the last home game for the Warriors before they embark on a two week cross country road trip on Monday.

James Ham of CSN California reports that DeMarcus Cousins is unlikely to play tonight against Golden State, but should be considered a game time decision against the defending champs. Harrison Barnes suffered a sprained ankle last night and all signs point to the Black Falcon sitting out tonight's game according to Diamond Leung of the Contra Costa Times. Barnes is listed as doubtful against the Kings.

Last Time Out

The Kings lost to the up and coming Timberwolves last night at Sleep Train Arena by a score of 101-91. Sacramento played without big man DeMarcus Cousins. Rudy Gay scored just two points for the Kings on 1-13 shooting from the field. Rajon Rondo looks like he is returning to his old form, posting 16 points and 16 assists against Minnesota.

Golden State on the other hand continues to shred teams with their phenomenal outside shooting. The Warriors set an NBA record with 15 made three pointers in the first half, and set a franchise record with 22 made three's in the game. Steph Curry dropped 41 points through three quarters before sitting out the entire final period. The Warriors defeated the Suns by a score of 135-116.

Golden State (-3000) enters tonight as 16 point favorites over Sacramento (+1500). The over/under game line is set at 220.5 points according to BetOnline. The Warriors have won nine of the last ten games against the Kings. Lets check out some betting trends for both teams hosted by OddsShark.com:

FLO's PICKS

Lets check out how my dad's picks ended up from last night's game in Phoenix:

ML - GOLDEN STATE - WIN - GS 135-116

ATS - GOLDEN STATE -8.5 - WIN - GS by 19

O/U - OVER -216 - WIN - 251 total points

Season Totals:

ML - 17-0 (100%)

ATS - 10-7 (59%)

O/U - 6-11 (35%)

Well it looks like the old man isn't too shabby when it comes to making picks. Beginner's luck right?

I guess not. Maybe he is in store for some more guest picks in the future. Lets check out the Warriors matchup tonight against the Kings.

I wouldn't be surprised if DeMarcus Cousins does play tonight, a la Chris Paul playing against the Warriors when it looked as though he would sit out. I expect Golden State to be without Barnes tonight, bringing up the question of who will start in his place. Igoudala would be a logical choice, but I think Walton likes bringing him off the bench. Brandon Rush started in place of Thompson against the Kings in their first meeting, so I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case again tonight.

The Warriors have been favored by 16+ three times this season, covering the spread only once. I generally lean towards the points in this type of game, but Golden State is more than capable of ripping off 15 or more three pointers and destroying a team by 25 plus points. With Curry sitting out the fourth, he will be ready for his matchup against Rondo tonight.

Here are my picks for tonight's game against the Kings:

ML - GOLDEN STATE

ATS - GOLDEN STATE -16

O/U - OVER -220.5
