24-1. That was one hell of a ride, Warriors fans.
These past six weeks we've rewritten history books with an epic win streak, insane stats from our squad and one of the best starts in NBA history. The streak ended Saturday night in Milwaukee, but that's not going to derail us from our main objective: Another shot at a Championship.
After a long 7-game road trip, the Dubs return home with an ecstatic fan base eager to see them in action. Tonight, they prepare to take on the Phoenix Suns. It's the start of a 5 game home stand and there's no place we'd rather be than at the Roaracle! Let's get it!
The Warriors: With a few days' rest back home and one helluva win streak, it's time to focus on winning (perhaps another streak?). Some things Golden State needs to focus on during this five-game schedule at home is getting their key players like Harrison Barnes back. Hopefully we'll see Klay Thompson's ankle fully healed as well. They can make adjustments to their bench rotation that's been struggling defensively and holding on to leads as of late. There's also the concern of sloppy turnovers revisiting our squad.
The Suns are headed to Oakland after Monday's 104-94 loss to the Dallas Mavericks. Be on the look out for Eric Bledsoe who had 23 points and 7 assists that night (he's averaging 22.3 ppt, 6.5 apt & 4.2 rig). There's a lot of young talent in this team ready to put up a fight. If they can keep up with the Warriors style and tempo, we might have ourselves a game.
Predictions:
- Your MVP Stephen Curry is going to put on a crazy show if he has his way with the Suns tonight.
- The fans are going to be crazy tonight. I can only imagine the ruckus that will go down in the Roaracle!
- An improved bench rotation will definitely help our Squad finish the games better. Interested in seeing what Coach Walton and his staff have up their sleeves.
- Draymond Green is going to have a highlight night tonight worthy of a All-star appearance... as a Starter! (Dub the vote!)
Win prediction: Let's start a new streak tonight, the home crowd's got your back! Warriors win by 7!
