What’s happened to efficiency of the bench?

When I looked at the efficiency – plus-minus per 100 possessions (NetRtg) – for the season of the Warriors bench, it was +5.2 a very nice result ranking third. However, when I looked at December, the bench has been performing at -8.2 points per 100 possessions, ranking 27th among NBA teams, and, by the way, the bench’s per game plus-minus is also ranked 27th.

I looked at the box scores for December Warriors games, and except for Nets and Hornets’ games, the bench had numerous negative individual plus-minuses. Thus, recently the Warriors bench’s efficiency rating among benches has had them sandwiched at the bottom of the NBA between Philadelphia (above) and LA Lakers (below).

What has happened to the bench’s performance, and what caused it?
