★★★

On Feburary 8th, 2004, the Golden State Warriors tied an NBA record for fewest points scored in a quarter when they mustered just two measly points in the fourth quarter against the Toronto Raptors. Despite being outscored 18-2 in the final period, the Warriors managed to get the game into overtime before losing by a final score of 84-81.

Thankfully the 2015-2016 Warriors offense is vastly improved. Golden State is averaging 27 points in the fourth quarter this season, good for second in the NBA behind the Phoenix Suns. What might be more impressive is the Dubs' ability to attack right from the tip, as they average a league high 31 points in the first quarter. The Warriors are basically unstoppable when the offense is clicking. Golden State is a perfect 26-0 this season when they score at least 100 points.

Last Time Out

The Jazz doused the Suns in Utah on Monday by a score of 110-89. Gordon Hayward led the way with 24 points for a Utah squad that held an explosive Phoenix team to just 18 third quarter points. The Jazz will be without guard Dante Exum and center Rudy Gobert tonight against Golden State.

The Warriors revenged their only loss of the season by defeating the Milwaukee Bucks last Friday night 121-112. Golden State gave up a mind numbing 70 first half points to Milwaukee in a very intense game. However it is essential to maintain this pace for 48 minutes to beat the Warriors, which the young Bucks could not do. The Dubs molly whopped Milwaukee in the fourth quarter by a score of 36-19 to seal the victory.

Golden State (-1700) comes into tonight's game as 14 point favorites over visiting Utah (+1075). The over/under game total is set at 209.5 points according to BetOnline. The total was exactly that for the two team's previous matchup earlier this season when the Warriors defeated the Jazz in Utah 106-103. Here are some betting trends from both teams compiled by OddsShark.com:

FLO's PICKS

From 12/18 vs Milwaukee Bucks:

ML - GOLDEN STATE - WIN - GS 121-112

ATS - GOLDEN STATE -19 - LOSS - GS by 9

O/U - OVER 209.5 - WIN - 233 Total Points

Season Totals:

ML - 25-1 (96%)

ATS - 12-14 (46%)

O/U - 13-13 (50%)

The Warriors enter tonight's game with fresh legs after four days of rest in between their last game. The total has gone OVER in 10 of the Warriors' last 11 games, yet in 12 of Golden State's last 15 games against Utah at home the total has gone under.

Golden State is averaging 115 points at home this season in comparison to Utah's 96 points per game scoring average on the road, which equates to an average of 211 total points. Here are my picks for tonight's game against the Jazz.

ML - GOLDEN STATE

ATS - UTAH +14

O/U - OVER 209.5
