Golden State brings back James Michael McAdoo on second 10-day contract

McAdoo has been solid in his first 10-day stint with the Warriors. Could he become a long term piece?

Kyle Terada-USA TODAY Sports

The Golden State Warriors have resigned forward James Michael McAdoo to a second 10-day contract per Shams Charania of RealGM.

On his first 10-day contract, McAdoo played a total of 20 minutes in three games tallying 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting and five rebounds. Having played for the Warriors D-League affiliate, McAdoo has slid in seamlessly with Golden State's playbook and system. While this is a small sample size, McAdoo is posting superb per 36 minutes numbers and could give the Warriors more than just energy and hustle.

The Warriors will have a big stretch of six games starting from February 3 to February 11 to evaluate McAdoo and determine if they want to retain him past his current 10-day deal.
