A Decade of Being in a Golden State of Mind: 10 years, 67 wins, and 1 DREAM

"UNSTOPPABLE BABY!" - Warriors rookie Marc Jackson to the Mavs' bench, after a lay-up during a 29-point loss (2000)

On the eve of the 2015 NBA Playoffs and what will be a defining next few months for the Golden State Warriors and their fans, I'd like to take a moment and reminisce. Dating back to our Golden State Warriors BLOG days, we've hit a decade as a community.

To be honest, I can't believe we made it this far. I never would have imagined in my wildest dreams that this little hobby that my goofy buddies and I started in our mid-20's would still be going strong and be bigger and badder than ever.

Back when we started in the spring of 2005 if you told me that some day the Warriors would win 67 games in a single season, I would have said you were a funny, funny, funny character that belonged on Michael Jordan's team in Space Jam. If you told me that the Warriors would be a legit NBA Championship contender with bonafide MVP and Coach of the Year candidates in my lifetime, I would have said that's a very nice dream, but not going to happen.

It's been 10 years and a lot has changed. Now I believe that dream can and will happen.

There's many thank you's and reflections about our 10 years together, but I'll save that for another time. There would be no better way to celebrate 10 golden years than the dream of the Warriors being 2015 NBA Champions coming true. Our journey starts tomorrow and I guarantee it will be "Unstoppable Baby!"

Thank you for your continued support and...

LET'S GO WARRIORS!
