There are some that believe that a playoff series doesn't begin until someone loses at home.
However, with both the Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies having lost a game at home so far in their second round series, you could make an argument that the series begins tonight in Game 5 at Oracle Arena with the series tied at 2-2.
We've now seen both teams make adjustments and counter-adjustments, both teams give their best shot and take their opponent's best shot. And now we have a three-game series with both teams knowing each other's ins and outs and the Warriors possessing home court advantage.
MEM F Tony Allen is game-time decision for Gm 5 vs. #Warriors. Partly based on if he might be substantially better for Game 6 on Friday.

The great thing about this series has been that it seems like both teams could respond back and forth even if it was a 15-game series. And it would seem that the ball is in the Grizzlies court to adjust or face elimination after a rough defeat in Game 4.
Said it already but Grizz vs. Warriors is the ultimate battle of Personality vs. Style.
