This series so far has offered all of the fixings to be one of the most entertaining NBA Finals in league history. After two straight losses in games 2 and 3, the Warriors avoided their first three game losing streak of the season with a 21 point victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers in game 4. To win game 5, the Dubs will need to set the pace and play with a heightened sense of urgency, much like they did on Thursday.
The Warriors enter game 5 as eight point favorites over the Cavs according to Bovada Sports Book, making it the second time in the series the Dubs are big favorites after winning a game. There has been a lot of speculation about the Cavs level of fatigue and if we are finally starting to see them wear thin. Cleveland comes into game 5 at plus-295 on the moneyline, making them an enticing bet to any gambler.
The under has been a lock all series long as only one game in the series has gone over, which was game 1 thanks in part to the game going to overtime. The over/under is set at 195 for game 5 and quite honestly there is not much else to say about this game that has not already been said. More than any game of the series, I expect the Warriors and the Cavaliers to battle for control of the tempo as the Cavs will look to slow it down and make the crazed fans at Roarcle a non-factor.
I wish the best of luck to you good sirs. GO WARRIORS!
