Yesterday, for a special Father's Day tribute, Marc Stein sat down with Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and their respective fathers to talk about what the Golden State Warriors 2015 NBA Championship means to them. Klay's dad Michael, who won two rings of his own with the Lakers in the 80's, said getting to watch his son raise the Larry O'Brien trophy meant way more than any of his own accomplishments.
I was fortunate enough to be with Magic and his team and win two, but this feels even better for me personally than my two championships. I feel like this is the best thing that's ever happened to me in professional basketball, seeing Klay and his teammates win a championship.
It's worth noting that Steph's father Dell Curry nods along in agreement the whole time. Hope everyone had a great Father's Day. I know Stephen and Klay did!
