Leading up to the NBA Draft, much of the talk surrounding the Warriors has been about using the 30th selection in the draft to sweeten the deal in a David Lee trade. Nevertheless, it seems Golden State may found a targeted prospect on hand and could entertain the idea of moving up.
Scott Howard-Cooper of NBA.com reports the Warriors have interest in doing just that:
Interesting development heading toward Thursday night: I’m hearing the Warriors are exploring the possibility of trading UP. Target unknown.

With a tight budget for next season, the Warriors were expected to consider selecting a draft-and-stash talent (like Guillermo Hernangomez) or trading down to the second round to avoid paying a first round rookie scale contract. However, that could change if a specific player intrigues them.
