After averaging a career high 10.4 points per game, veteran Marreese Speights will return to the championship Golden State Warriors for next season.
According to Rusty Simmons of The San Francisco Chronicle, the Warriors exercised their team option on Speights for the 2015-16 season.
As Warriors GM Bob Myers said he was "inclined" to do, the Warriors have exercised their team option on Marreese Speights for 15-16.

Speights who owns the nickname 'Mo Buckets', led the Warriors' reserves in scoring during the regular season. Often one of the first frontcourt members off the bench, the power forward averaged 10.4 points and 4.3 rebounds on 43% shooting in 15.9 minutes. He is slated to earn $3.815 million next year.
