Ahead of Finals, Warriors staying loose

At the Finals media day today, Golden State's players and coaches stayed relaxed and calm.

Stephen Curry sat down at the podium today for Finals media day, and what do you know, he was asked about the role his daughter, Riley, has played in helping him prepare for the Finals. He cracked:

Curry also was heartfelt in speaking about his daughter.

Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was also cracking jokes. Kerr, who played with the Cavaliers for three-and-a-half seasons, had this to say about why players didn't really want to play in Cleveland:

The Warriors and Cavaliers had late night television royalty descend upon them at media day. (Not really.) Guillermo, who is Jimmy Kimmel's assistant on Jimmy Kimmel Live (or something like that), was at the Finals media day as well, asking silly questions. Last year Jimmy Kimmel Live showed this video of Guillermo at the 2014 NBA Finals media day. I'm sure that whatever Kimmel puts out this year will be just as funny -- judging by what Draymond Green said.

The Warriors are loose and ready to begin the Finals, after an eight-day hiatus from playoff basketball.

Game 1 tips off tomorrow at 6 PM live from Oracle Arena! I. Cannot. Wait.
