I would like to share something with everyone today that I thought I may not ever hear in my lifetime.. The Golden State Warriors are favored to win the NBA Finals over a team lead by Lebron James. According to Bovada Sportsbook Las Vegas, the Dubs are at minus -230 (meaning you would need to bet $2.30 to win $1) for game one, leaving the Cavs to be the underdog at plus-190 (meaning you would need to bet $1 to win $1.90). For the series, the Warriors are minus-190 with the Cavs coming in at plus-165.
The real gamblers were putting money on the Warriors at the beginning of the season, like my brother for example who snagged the Warriors at 10-1 before the season started which means his $100 bet will turn into $1000 if the Warriors win the Finals. The Dubs odds are now 5/11, meaning you'd win roughly $45 for every $100 that was bet.
Looking through the various player prop bets (there is about 170 of them at Bovada), there are a couple that could return big profits if they hit. Kyrie Irving is plus-800 to get a double-double and Draymond Green is plus-1275 if he gets a triple-double which would return $1275 with a $100 bet placed. My stone cold lock of the night? Draymond Gretting is plus-220 to make a 3-point shot before Lebron, who by the way is plus-600 to score 40 or more tonight.
The Cavs are plus 5 1/2 tonight on the point spread for game one that features an over/under of 204. Lets not forget the last tid-bit of hard hitting insider info that can take your betting game to the next level for game one. Ten year old Nayah Damasen will be singing the National Anthem tonight, and the Warriors have not lost this post season when she sings the Star Spangled Banner.
