The Warriors look to keep up their momentum in Summer League tournament play when they face off against Kristaps Porzingis and the New York Knicks today.

Porzingis is a very, very dangerous player with amazing length and instincts. Watching him was one of the highlights of my entire trip to Vegas. In his last game, against Philadelphia, he blocked Jahlil Okafor three times. For real, you can see them all here. His shooting touch is regal and effortless, his footwork is better than advertised, and he leads a very interesting Knicks squad that also features Langston Galloway, Travis Wear, and Thanasis Antetokounmpo (brother of Giannis Antetokounmpo).

Matt Stainbrook and Stefan Nastic will once again share the minutes at center, and both have the bulk to match up with Porzingis. However, neither is quick enough to follow him out to the perimeter if he chooses to drift away from the basket and unleash his deadly shot from afar.

We can look to James Michael McAdoo to once again lead this team. I'll be watching to see if Kevon Looney takes another step within the offense. It wouldn't surprise me at all if, five years from now, Porzingis and Looney are considered two of the better players to have come out of this draft.

I'm sad that I'm not at the game. It's addicting, really, having that access. Standing beneath the basket, watching from twenty feet away. Sliding into the tunnel, whipping out the phone, taking notes. Transcribing interviews and talking shop with the brightest minds in the game.

This is y'alls open thread for the game. Post away.
