Justin Holiday signs with Atlanta Hawks

As a rookie last season, Holiday played a key role as a backup guard, especially early in the season. After the Warriors declined his option, the Hawks nabbed the young emerging 3-and-D talent.

Justin Holiday has signed with the Atlanta Hawks.

After a solid season in Golden State, in which he played 59 games and averaged 4.3 points per game, Holiday drew looks from multiple teams when the Warriors declined his option for 2015-16, as a low-cost 3-and-D talent. The Hawks, who also acquired Tim Hardaway, Jr. and have Kent Bazemore, the former Warriors two-guard, pounced on Holiday.
