The Golden State Warriors won an astounding 87 games in the calendar year of 2015. June 16th marks the day of Golden State's most important win, a 105-97 victory over the Cleveland Cavaliers to secure the Warriors' first NBA title in 40 years. However December 31st should be considered the Dubs' most impressive win. With only 10 active players on the second night of a back-to-back after being blown out the night before, the Warriors used grit and determination to defeat the Houston Rockets in a Western Conference Finals rematch from a season ago.

The Warriors are 30-2 entering their first game of 2016 and have not lost a regular season game at home in almost a year. They look to build on their 33 game regular season home win streak tonight against the visiting Denver Nuggets. It looks as though Steph Curry will play tonight against Denver via Twitter:

From 12/31 against Houston:

ML - HOUSTON - LOSS - GS 114-110

ATS - HOUSTON +2.5 - LOSS - GS by 4

O/U - UNDER 210 - LOSS - 224 Total Points

Season totals:

ML - 29-2 (94%)

ATS - 15-16 (48%)

O/U - 16-15 (52%)

Golden State (-15) is just 1-4 ATS in their last five home games against Denver. The total has gone over in five of the last six games between the two teams at Oracle. A complete list of betting trends can be found at

It looks as though Festus Ezeli and Harrison Barnes will not play tonight. But given each players value to the team as a whole come playoff time, it's better to sit out games in January in comparison to sitting out games in May and June.

Here are my picks for tonight's game:

O/U - OVER 215
