Harrison Barnes to host scavenger hunt for tickets

The tech savvy forward is at it again.

Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

Fresh off hitting the game winner in Philadelphia, Harrison Barnes has his eye on the prize once again. While working hard on his on-court game, he also has been coming up with various off-the-court enterprises to keep his fans engaged.

Previously, he made headlines for opening a P.O. box where fans could send memorabilia for him to sign, and for hosting post-game interviews with fans on Periscope.

Now, he's at it again.

Note: Unfortunately, this only applies to NYC-based Warriors fans. Of which, I can attest, there are more and more each day.

Barnes has teamed up with Hypeist, the Instagram account that creates scavenger hunts for exclusive prizes. For this quest, they will not only be hiding pairs of tickets to the Warriors vs. Knicks game, which will include a meet and greet with Barnes, but will also offer up swag for those that can find it.

So, if you live in/around NYC and you want tickets to the game plus a chance to meet Barnes, sign up and join the hunt!

From Hypeist's official press release:

The hunt will go live on Sunday, January 31st at 2PM EST in NYC. Hypeist will be releasing all clues through their Instagram account. Once the hunt is live, you'll be searching for hidden Hypeist tokens, which you reedeem for the prizes. You'll need to decrypt clues and take on challenges to find hidden tokens, so you better be ready to flex your Harrison Barnes, Warriors, and NBA knowledge.

Tokens can take many forms basketball memorabilia, locks, art pieces, etc. If you find a token, you must DM a photo of it to Hypeist on Instagram and they'll let you know how and where to snag your #HBQuest reward.

For everything you need to know about the hunt head to hypeist.com/dropinfo/hbquest and follow both @hbarnes and @hypeist on Instagram.

Good luck out there!
